Dorothy Hunt was invited by Adyashanti to share the Dharma in 2004, and does so with great gratitude and love for the continuous unfolding of the Mystery. She has a deep and abiding connection to Ramana Maharshi, the path of Self-Inquiry, and the nondual teachings of Zen, Advaita, and the Christian mystics. Dorothy serves as Spiritual Director of Moon Mountain Sangha, Inc., a California non-profit religious organization that supports spiritual awakening and the embodiment of realization. She offers satsang, retreats and private meetings in the San Francisco Bay Area, and elsewhere by invitation.
Dorothy is the founder of the San Francisco Center for Meditation and Psychotherapy, and is semi-retired from a practice of psychotherapy that began in 1967. She is the author of Only This!, Leaves from Moon Mountain, and Ending the Search: From Spiritual Ambition to the Heart of Awareness (Sounds True, 2018), in addition to articles on Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy. She is a featured spiritual teacher in the book, Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Wisdom.
